Soror Sharon Jones is a native of Monroe, Louisiana. She was inducted into Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in the Spring of 2002, Nu Zeta Chapter, on the campus of Austin Peay State University Clarksville, Tenn.  She is also a charter member of the Iota Pi Sigma Alumnae Chapter in Clarksville, Tenn. and Mu Tau Sigma Alumnae Chapter in Killeen, Tx.

Being a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. for over 22 years has allowed her to give back to something GREATER than herself and set a meaningful example for her children and grandchildren.  She believes it is an honor to be a part of serving the Greater Killeen / Fort Cavazos area of Central Texas. 

 

Having served in the role of chapter Epistoleus for 3 years and now a second term as Basileus, Sorors Jones is dedicated and committed to leading Mu Tau Sigma Alumnae Chapter towards fulfilling the goals, vision, and mission of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. through Greater Service and Greater Progress.  A great leader once said; "Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve."
